Miley learns from candy counter girl Maddie Fitzpatrick (Ashley Tisdale) while checking out of the Tipton Hotel in Boston that her dad used to be a famous singer called Robbie Ray but gave it all up to look after her and Jackson after they were born. Back at home, Miley starts to feel guilty for ruining her dad’s career so she calls Robbie’s old manager and stages a chance for Robbie to make a comeback.
