Miley is signing autographs as Hannah Montana to mark the opening of her new fashion line when she notices her dad looking for a birthday present to get her. She’s worried that he’ll get her another lame gift like he usually does, so she decides to take Lilly with her to the mall, and while she hides, she can tell Lilly yes or no about the outfit, and Lilly can tell her dad. But when Miley gets kicked out of the store, she decides to dress up as the Hannah Montana mannequin to pick the perfect present through Lilly. Lilly manages to convince Robbie to buy the outfit that Miley wants, but when Miley opens her present on her birthday, it’s something completely different - a pink cat sweater that meows. Miley comes up with a scheme to ruin it, but before she gets the chance she has to go out in public wearing the sweater when Robbie throws her a surprise party at the beach. Meanwhile, Jackson has a difficult time getting Miley’s birthday cake.
